EKA Mobility and KPIT Partner for Advanced Electric Powertrain Innovation

EKA Mobility, a frontrunner in sustainable mobility solutions, and KPIT Technologies, a worldwide leader in creating mobility technology solutions aimed at a cleaner, smarter, and safer future, have signed an MOU to develop and incorporate advanced electric powertrain technology components. This partnership seeks to establish new standards for efficiency, performance, and sustainability in India's electric commercial vehicle (e-CV) sector.
The MoU aims to develop sophisticated electric powertrain systems, including traction motors, controllers, vehicle control units, and battery management systems, specifically designed for EKA’s wide array of electric buses and commercial vehicles. The MOU will utilize KPIT's thirty years of experience in mobility along with a comprehensive range of locally developed electric powertrain technologies. These advancements will allow EKA Mobility to provide enhanced energy efficiency, lower total cost of ownership (TCO), and an unparalleled driving experience for its clients.
